My mate has a spaceframe s14a with 517whp from a rb25 and it's shit tbh. Too much turbo lag and just wheelspins at anything below about 80 when on boost. More power isn't always better ;-)

No I do agree. My old sx was around 270-280bhp when I sold it, for a light car like that it felt plenty.
I wouldn't bother going much above 350-380ish in a s14, usable power over bragging-rights figures.
