When is Trax? If you phone PB today and ask them they may be able to get it to you by tomorrow morning... They did so for me, around this time as well. Bloody good people at PB.

You can do it! Send him an email. If anything it will be there Friday, allowing you to have a good claying. Then a simple wash, polish and sealant on Friday. Get everything else done (Interior, back to black etc) on Thursday.

Golden rule for the protection step - you can layer natural waxes (i.e. carnauba) over sealants, but you should never try to apply a sealant over natural waxes. Full guide to protection here...
http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...s_protect.html
A pure sealant like the Autoglym product will look better on silver than any natural wax - see the difference on mine.
Here's carnauba on it... yes it looks warm and glowing, but the reflections are poor and it doesn't look wet and glossy.
...and here it is wearing a few layers of sealant. Massive difference to my eyes, sharper reflections and good wetness.

i found diamond brtie shit hot you first apply step 1 (pre-glaze) then step2 (glaze) on top of the step 1 then the longer you leave it to fuse together the better its shit hot stuff. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Diamond-Brite-...QQcmdZViewItem

Not sure about Megs, but the Poorboy's pure sealant is EX-P (the EX version contains carnauba, so no go for silver), but to be honest it really needs to be topped with a wax for best results, so again isn't the best on silver. Blackfire Wet Diamond and Menzerna FMJ are pure sealants that work very well on silver, but the best is the Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic line up (Prime, Trigger, Glos). Have a butchers at mine on Sunday and judge for yourself. I've certainly found no better on my car.

Ive just spent £45 on cleaning products for trax. megs step 1 2 and 3 plus a load of other gear. I own a silver car. Does all this talk mean that my car will not shine very well or just not as good as it could?
If ive understood right step 3 should be replaced by some ag egp?

yea basically after step1-2 you should seal the paint to enhance the gloss. but as said for silver, its best to put on a few coats of sealant instead of carnooby for the best gloss. it doesnt mean that step 3 is bad just maybe not the best for your colour.

Exactly - do the three steps and your car will look like mine in the top two pics. Skip the 3rd step and add 2 coats of a sealant and it will look wetter and glossier, with much better reflections.
