That orange reminds me of EDGE ICE
With the boot neons, was it just wiring off the standard boot light, then wired through and attached underneath the car>

Was indeed. Both the cathodes that are in the boot and the undercar LED's are run off the 12v feed from the standard light.

Ah i see, I was thinking of having a large blue light running in my boot- neon under the parcel shelf. How do you keep it tidy?

What a transformation from the start mate! Really good work fella.
Quick question if you dont mind.... I've stripped the inside of my vts want to paint it but dont really fancy using cans etc what you think about rollering chalk paint on? Does it come out ok with a brush also?
Cheers

Brush isn't as good, you can definitely see the brush strokes. The roller comes out really nicely, if you do it very thinly and keep rolling!
If its a nice flat area, rolling is a great option. Why don't you fancy using cans?

Keeping my boot tidy? I hid the wiring by the standard light, and ran it up the back of that plastic covering, and into the back of the parcel shelf? There is a small lip at the back, the wires are in this

Well I sprayed the outside with matt black cans, but envolves a lot of masking up and its tricky inside the cabin lol.
What about foam brushes like in this set mate? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/14-assorted-fo...int_Varnish_MJ
Thanks for help

I used a nice firm foam, and quite a thick foam roller? I found that gave the best finish... You just have to keep going over the same bit, rolling different ways to get the best finish I found, with very little paint!
Inside could be quite tricky!

Slight update.
Went down to KrisB last night for my car to be lowered - decided to completely blow the lambda sensor out of my cat - which made for a nice noise!
Anyway - i'll get that sorted.
I didn't 'slam' the car, just made it look less like it was on stilts!
Before:
After:
When we were down there, we also had some fun with the chalkboard paint
Many many thanks to KrisB for the lowering - P.S You can keep the chalks that I left there by mistake!
Subtle? But effective I think.

Nah, I don't want to be low low. I like being able to drive.
I'm happy with the height to be fair, I can feel the difference in the ride from it being lowered, which is what I'm happy with.

Impressive work, good to see someone so enthusiastic. What does your mate who you bought the car off think of it now?
