btw did i pass you the other week ? in quedley near tescos pretty late at night? was a silver 106 stopped at side of the road, with hids? swear i flashed you and put the hazards on?

Nah, only time I've seen you in the gti was going down Bristol road towards Nass Lane, didn't realise it was you til you passed cos it was dark!
Eaten 3 boxes because the original gti box diff went, replaced it with an S2 Rallye box but that had the same problem but worse (lol), now running a mint 1.1 box which is making it epic to drive, for the first time since fcs tbh!

Btw, way to uber spam your blog, but I was thinking that whilst the box is off to do the clutch, you might aswell replace it with something shorter ratio'd - the VTR box really kills acceleration on these, 8v's on shorter boxes pull a LOT nicer!

the clutch is being done in the morning hopefully chris,
and tbh ive been tempted to try and find a nice 1.1 box to lob into it, but im unsure at the moment.
Seriously thinking about finding an 's lump to throw in her though...

Problem was the clutch, had the brakes done at the same time.

Update; problem i had which i though was the alternator happened to be a flat battery. Only had a new one a few months ago. Oh well free anyways.
And some twat took my wing mirror off and dented my passenger door today. ;(

Updates; 266mm front brake setup on the car now.
Next will either be a decent suspension setup
Or ill finally get around to 16v...

Si, got the brakes done on tuesday.
get 266mm brakes such an improvement all round.
and im deff going 16v when mandyslover has one in stock for me.
been driving bens 16v s1 rallye tonight, as i had doubts of doing the conversion but it'll be happening.

Finally decided to clean my car after the shitty weather..
went from 3 months of not being cleaned....
To...
Still needs a fair amount of cleaning, cant get all the brake dust off the alloys atm.but its a start.

Thanks to Simon shes now looking lovely  after months of neglect.
Makes me really want to get around to doing a vts transplant again...
