Shame you couldnt get the supersprint etc on, never known a car have a full seamless exhaust though, guess no chance of it blowing at any point! Lol

Love the Gruppe M, bet it sounds awesome with the JRSC! Anthracite wheels are the way forward, I'm tempted myself but they've only just been refurbed by the dealers... :/

Think mine must have skipped the wheel warrenty recall as they are bubbly as fuck around the bolt holes

paid 6.2k and sold some of the spares and extra mods it came with so owes me around 5.8 as it stands, didnt plan on buying a supercharged one but it seemed a bargin compared to what others you were getting for around that price

UPDATE TIME

Right dispite a stinking cold the weather was too nice to not get on with fitting my springs so I manned up and did it

Springs from egay

was going to help update one of the how to guides on another forum so here are a couple of snaps anyway

first off get generous with the WD40

out with old

in with new

Fronts

If anyone knows how to get the track rods off without busting the boot let me know :bad-words:

So need to buy a set of these asap

Before

After

Ignore the hellaflush camber as I need to take it for a geo setup asap

Has had the camber arms set for the TGM settings on standard springs so now its on these its got a fair bit more :o

Heres what it was set to

Old settings from a couple of years back

What it was when I arrived after I had pulled it apart and reassembled

What I have now

Nothing special just nice and even and gives a smooth stable ride. Im going to drive it for a bit and take it to castle coombe in april and may add a little more rear camber if I think it needs it after then.

Well happy with how it drives at the moment though its like a new car, although that maybe because the geo was so out on the way up there

Impressed how close I got the camber when I put the bolts back in by eye though :look:

Some slightly better pics after a clean

Gave it a clay, polish and wax using the megs kit that I had.

Still faded but at least its shiney and smooth now

Wasnt really anywhere to go decent for pics so just rolled down the front to the sea front

Even polished up the exhaust :o

If I remember I will take a picture of it on level ground at work tomorow to show how it sits properly

Well now I am happy with how it drives the only things left to do are cosmetic

Wheels need attention

Do I refurb?

Or buy some rota's?

Also The paint is unfortunatly in a bad state of fade and has a few chips. Dont know if to sort this or leave it. As I like to use my cars and there is no point if its only going to chip again unless I can get a thicker coat or something put on. just the roads round here are terrible and I know at least 4 of the big uns on the front are from the time I have owned it

My mates just lowered his EP3 on some Spoon springs and it sits about the same as yours.

Right got it ready for its track outing this weekend

Also fitted a new exhaust as the buddy club one was a bit loud for my liking, sounded good when giving it the beans

But around town etc it was a bit of a mare

So fitted a silenced 2.5inch back box with a OEM rear box. 100% sleeper now and sounds oem

Changed the exhaust over to get it legal for castle coombe too its noisy days are over

Old race tube off

Found out what i hit on a speed hump the other week

New system on

OEM rear box with 2.5inch silenced stainless centre

Rear box had been living in the old owners shed since 2005 so cleaned it up

New exhaust sound

Sounds oem but with a whine when you boot it :cooldude:

Also means I can drive into the multistory at work in the morning and not set off car alarms

Need to get it rr though to check the rear box isnt too restrictive for it as it feels it could have lost a bit of top end for 6k up

Couple of meet pics from the other week

Been a while so time for an update

Since last time:

Bought a cheap set of rota boosts

painted them with some halfords anthracite paint to get rid of the chips

Car drives better now on the wider wheels, feels stiffer and more sure footed on turn in

Still not sure on how they look though

pics

Also found a spoon n1 cheap. However I dont think it will be staying long as its loud as fuck :|
Quiter then the buddy club I had in the begining yes but still really droney. Sound when on it though  Going to see if I can find a bung to make it quiter

Polished up the rear box for bling before fitting

Noise check :o sounds better coming towards you as you get the charger noise

Havnt read the thread and the schooperchargers awsome etc..

but do you realise how Rare full leathers are? Apparantly offered as an option that was so expensive + rare that if you ordered them honda simply took the seats out and sent them to a re-trimmer. hence alot of the full leathers being all different.. some having type-r sticked in and some being plain etc?

That's exactly how mine looked on Spoon springs and the Rotas. Callipers yellow and wind deflectors.

Didn't get on with the N1 then?
