theres 3 different plans for the install
1 upgrade the subs see what it plays like
2 try tunnel see what that plays like
then 3 if i like the tunnel keep that and get another 2 of the new subs
total is 16cuft the subs will have 1.5 cuft each maybe a little more witch should be fine

1) if you get new subs, shot gun on first dibs on your GT5?
2) tunnel would be immense if you get it going and sounds good! iv jsut finished the final plans for mine, even making a lil cardboard model, because im soo bored!
3) i cant find GT5 anywhere 2nd hand, and new cheapest i found is 40 bucks a pop at halfrauds!
is the tunnel ported or going to be sealed?!
me matty and scruff went for a mish to an empty place today to get a reading from the van install! 144.2 at 21Hz!

i have two visions of a van... one like scruffs, or two, like iceman van on ta...
if you can manage to get them at 30 bucks a pop, let me know! if this to do with the trade with JBL?
his tuning went abit down hill...was emant to be 25 for his peak.
we both decided to re-do the box designs and go for 30-33
finished my final plans for my tunnel! will be a tight fit!
and 100 bucks on MDF and fittings

gt5s peaking at mid-low 20 makes them sound weird i peak at 33 and it plays the the lows fine plus has abit of the higher range
yeah just seen your drawing on your thread looks good i get all my cuts free in bnq plus the lad whu does my cuts is bang on with them unlike the old bloke the other day managed to make one side a cm bigger and the other a cm smaller epic fail lol

damn that old bloke!
50p a cut isnt too bad, but when your neededing 30+ cuts
no fun!
going to try and seeif scruff wants to get my cuts on trade at total timber! and he can cut it for me too...!
lol look at the drawing, and measure it out, it will sit about 1mm away from the rear window! not sure how thats going to work out! but 40 bucks for new ali sheet to go there instead!
loosh!
as for the trade! whats the prices of amps going to set you back, i assume your going for another 1201 rather than something more powerfull ?

true but if you buying 4 sheet go in get 1 sheet cut then take it out to the car then go in get the 2nd sheet cut keep doing that as you will get 4 free cuts on each bord so 16 for free
what ever you do dont build it to forward as it is a pain in the arse to drive with your seat right forward
cant get any 1201's from them as thay dont sell them any more but will get a price for the replacement of the 1201 witch is the 1401
