Secondly the Coil pack cover didnt fit, there was parts that needed shaving back all round it, this took the best part of just over an hour to sort out- thank god for the Dremmel rotary tool!
Still the job was done and this is how it now looks:

I know this was a long time ago now... but just wanted to say I had the same problem with my rocker cover from those guys.... to be honest the quality was shite and I had to drill a hole for the oil breather pipe and shave shit loads of... oh and now because there was so much of a gab between the rockers and the cover, my oil cap is leaking like a bitch!!!
Rant over lol!

Phase 2 - The removal
Final pic of the car in 1.0 state
Almost the last you'll see of Flymo!
All the front panels off
Struts out (Having new front bearings in while im at it as 1 wont pass the next MOT) Driveshafts out
I guess theres no going back now
Engine bay needs a good clean/degrease and proper paint (Yep you guessed it, thats the next step)
Grab your tissues and wipe your eyes, the very last you'll see of Flymo, shes been good and reliable for virtually all of the last few years (3 years ive owned it i think)
Some of the old bits and pieces
Stage 3 Begins on Sunday morning - Engine bay cleanup

Oh ball sack, Josh ive just been looking at your engine bay pics from when you resprayed it and ive just spotted what could be a rather large problem!
On the bit where the ECU engine mount is theres obvious attachment parts on Josh's
Where'as on mine with the engine mount just resting there at the moment there is nothing aside from the middle bolt for it to attach to!
Suggestions most definately needed!

Just got your text mate,
i did mention this a while back but i dont think you understood what i meant.
So basically your chassis is very similar to the ax / mark 1 106's, you'll have to get down the scrappy's, cut one of those mounts out and weld it into your chassis.
Problem number 1 - plenty more to come mate Lol
Everything else looks good though, arb and fuel lines are great news mate

Ah crap now that sucks bigtime, ive got a welder so its not overly a problem to weld some in, apart from doing it accurately.
Got no chance of getting a scrappy to let me go at a car with a grinder, or getting one to plug in. Custom job dya think?
