Looking at yours closely on that pic it looks like an add on parts thats welded into place.
Going to take a trip down to the replacement panels place locally and see if they can actually get that bit. Should be able to weld that one without breaking a sweat then
Also from above comment- nope not any sound deadening on mine, itll be rather loud inside i should think

Excellent, im hoping the replacement panels place (NRP) can get it easily enough.
Apart from that lots of other promising things from today, all the plugs i was worried about on the loom from being broke all are on the old loom so i can cut and solder them onto the VTS loom
Ones that i was unsure of location wise we've found too

Fast moving process dude!
More pics of the bay stripped and being prepped for paint please
What colour are you going for, same as the exterior?
Good luck with the final part of phase 2 and fitting/wiring all the odd bits and pieces into place

I was thinking red as i saw it in a GTI back at FCS and i thought it was mint
Where did you end up getting the Samco/SFS hoses from in the end?
Samco are shite for practicality and SFS make better hoses which are much cheaper i've found...
Quick question...How do you remove the firewall from the engine bay and where was that radiator from for £50!?

Radiator Josh (jpsaxo) ordered from me, drop him a Pm im sure he'll sort something out for you
Removing the firewall? My car never came with one. Middle aged posh lady the owner before me, very much doubt she'd have removed it so im assuming they dont come on 1.0 models - Citroen weight saving? lol
