BIG UPDATE
Right, im due an update, and there's quite a few little mods i have done recently...
First, i got shot of the GB number plates, as i thought the light blue didn't go with the dark blue of my car...also they looked quite cluttered, so i made some new ones from work, with a single boarder and www.saxperience.com at the bottom.
Next it was time for a trip to the local breakers yards to find a standard air intake and a fog-light bulb holder. Went to the first yard, and they had the airbox and wanted £20 for it...needless to say i went to the next one. Luckily, they had a mango westy and a red 1.1, so i pillaged the bits from those... £5 for both!!!
Also saw that the westcoast still had a tasty little mk1 spoiler on the rear, my dad and i had a good go of removing it. Considering the saxo was 2 stories high (on massive shelving), we got up the ladders and coldnt remove it
Went home, defeated.
Came back 10 mins later with a heavy artillery of a few chisels, mallets, screwdrivers and hammers. In the end (after about 1 hour of hard work) we removed the spoiler, which was held on purely with tiger seal. We took half the paint off the westcoast and ruined the tailgate getting it off - but the spoiler was mint
Only cost £15
Primed and resprayed to match
Well chuffed with my respray
Becoming pretty good now
More to come after tea

NEXT
Took off the old air filter which was filthy and full of oil and refitted the standard induction and airbox.
From this

To this
However, there were three pipes going into the old air filter, but only two into the standard one, leaving this one free---
I assumed this was a breather pipe, so i got a mini air filter from work, and cable tied it in place...
After fitting this, i've felt the car has been more responsive, it's consumed less petrol and it's quietened down a bit, which is good, because it was nearly unbearable at 70 mph inside the car without sound deadening.
Lastly i decided to re-do the interior trim, from quartz silver, to Cossack grey. i think it looks a lot slicker, and less tacky...
from this --->
to this...
and also did the gear stick surround console in the same colour...
If you notice, there is a small chunk missing from the front of my arch, which means it doesnt sit right, so i have invested in a replacement part from 'euro-bonnie' to fit soon.
That's about it for now, so here's a few pics of how she stands..
let me know what you think

i hear you about the tints, if i get time, i may lightly smoke the front...
yeh the blue alloys is definately different, could look sweet with the silver lip to break it up a bit too. Sorting my priorities at the minute, and rasing funds lol. Trying to sort out all the little niggles atm, like the arch not sitting spot on, and the tempramental (sp?) fogs.
Cheers for your comment

i agree, looks really unique. Also, i think i will de-wiper the rear, although it has put me off a little, as i wanted to take the wiper off to refurb the arm and i couldnt get it off... so i reccon i'll have to get the hack saw out, which as i said, puts me off a bit

I stuck the spoiler on with a shit load of tiger seal and two little countersunk screws with a rubber grommet, just to be sure... that way i know it won't slump down, and also keeps it in place whist the tiger seal sets.
Cheers for your comment

UPDATE: Smoked Fogs, De-Wipered
Right, had a day off today, so thought i would sort out a few niggles
Firstly, De-wipered the rear. Was a lot easier than i thought... took motor out, eased the wiperarm out fitted 19mm gromet
Really cleans up the rear imo.
BEFORE:
AFTER:
NEXT
The nearside fog light was not only temperimental but also had a small crack, which let in muck from the road, resulting in 10 year old mould
I took the bumper off to get to the fogs easier....not so pretty without bumper on
Cleaned the lenses with soapy water, sanded the inside of the fogs, primed and sprayed black. Also decided to spray the metal bulb cover in flourescent yellow to see what it looked like...
was well happy with the results so refitted to the bumper, and re-attatched the bumper (which was quite tricky, doing it myself).
The result:
BEFORE: (see fog)
mouldy lense
AFTER:
Quite happy with my days work
