everyones vision is upside down; the way the light enters your cornea and passes onto the retina means that the image "hits" the retina upside down. Its up to your brain to flip the image.
Scientists tested this in the 70s - gave people glasses to wear that flipped their vision upside down and got them to perform tasks, read,walk around etc. After a day or so, the brain flips the image the right way up again.
