Might get a video of it if someone wants?

Hopefully it wont be too loud

MOT in 2 weeks, skint ATM with paying for court.

Next year I plan on getting new dished wheels, slam it and get some new skirts as mine are a bit knackered.

I would like a remap but that is gonna be the last thing I do.

I had my MOT 2 weeks back, needed a bit of welding under ECU, hate a seized rear caliper (it come out the garage seized after the MOT lol) and i needed 2 drop links.

So was pretty pleased with the little french tin lol

Dont the 1.8T respond well to mapping?

Yeah because it's an AUM and has a K03s turbo as well it will go from 150BHP to around 207BHP.

I am after a full exhaust system as well shortly I forgot to mention but they are steep.

They look nice, think you would need to be pretty low to pull them off.

Is heat wrapping it worth it? I'm waiting for mine to come through but not having a job would mean I would have to wait age before I could hear wrap it and put it on :/

i think it is, ive got a raceland/simota style induction kit and i dont want it to melt, and also ive noticed since having a stainless manifold my engine temperature seems always to be pretty high. plus it might make it a bit more poppy and its pwetty

By heatwrapping it you are preventing heat soak in the engine and for the price of the wrap I would say do it.

How much is wrap and where's the best place to get it from? Might do it, I've managed to get a job interview so never know I might be able to make a move on with the car

It'll be easier to wrap the manifold before you put it on

Saves with faffing about fitting it then removing it to wrap it etc
