it was a saab 2.3 turbo the omega box fits stright on but i dont think it would of lasted long lol.i tryed it fit a mt 75 but i couldnt be arsed to make the plates. i was just thinking 2.3 turbo lol. but iam gonna keep it simple for now make my life easyer for now. i might even buy some forged rods and pistons for the zetec yet and turbo that ill see how things go.

Ahhh, gotcha. I didn't think the B234 motor had the GM bolt pattern. I know the later B204 did as that was an Ecotec bottom end.
Good plan with the Zetec, but the rods are not a necessity unless you're going for real big power. I'm using stock rods in my brothers 277bhp 2.1 mk6 Escort without any ill effects. Might as well save the money and spend it on the turbo
Nice work though. Will be nice to watch it progress.

good read so far. as others have said i do hope that your adding lots of bars and strengthening platforms into the rear due to the rear end being paper thin!
see youve got plenty of saxo parts to sell on now aswell lol!
