1st Step:
I started by using the
Super Spray attachment to pre-washed the car, most people use Super Snow Foam but i used
Maxi Suds II with AG Shampoo.
This soften ups all the bird crap, tar, and bugs and takes the lose dirt off the car thus reducing the chances of scratches when we use the wash
Mitt later.
2nd Step:
Next i washed the car using the 2 bucket method and a wash
mitt.
We use the 2 bucket method to reduce the chance of scratching your paint while washing.
1 bucket is filled with just plane water and the other filled with 2 cap fulls of AG Shampoo and 1 cap full of
CG Maxi Suds (substitute what I've used with what you use)
You wash the car using the wash
mitt submerging it in to the bucket with shampoo in, washing the car and then rinsing the wash
mitt out in the plane water bucket.
This is to remove all the lose dirt that could scratch the paint from the wash
mitt before you submerge it in to the bucket with shampoo in and continue cleaning the your car.
Once you have washed the whole car , including the wheels (with the sponge) rinse the car off making sure you rinse all the shampoo out of the door sills and panel gaps.
3rd step:
Its time to dry the car, i used 2
Sonus Der Wunder Microfiber Towels.
I started by placing the towel on the roof and patting it so it soaks up all the water laying there and then drag down the side of the car.
I continued this step on the rest of the roof and the bonnet then folded the towel and wiped down the rest of the car until the towel was too saturated to soak up anymore water.
I then got my second towel out and went round the car making sure all the water was soaked up and removed from all the panel gaps and seals etc..
I then gave each panel a spritz of
Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detailer and wiped down the a Microfiber towel to remove any streaking that was left, this also gave the paint work a nice shine and added to the wet look of the Dodo Juice i added over a month ago.
