i think it is, ive got a raceland/simota style induction kit and i dont want it to melt, and also ive noticed since having a stainless manifold my engine temperature seems always to be pretty high. plus it might make it a bit more poppy and its pwetty

By heatwrapping it you are preventing heat soak in the engine and for the price of the wrap I would say do it.

It'll be easier to wrap the manifold before you put it on
Saves with faffing about fitting it then removing it to wrap it etc

It's mint, that's what the seller is saying and the pictures are not the best but can't see anything wrong with it except its discoloured, but I think that happens to every manifold?

Its coming from under the car because when i had the car on the ramps we started it up to have a quick check and we could feel it coming out of the join from the manifold to centre section.
but on my manifold it has like a seperate peice that bolts on just before the centre section join? i think it blowing from there as well, so im going to smother it in firegum tomorrow i think, see if that does anything, i also need to get my lambda sensor out of my old manifold to put it on the supersprint to get rid of the engine management light :/

yeah i put most of a tin of firegum on the little section that joins the downpipe to the centre section, and a new fire ring between that pipe and the centre section, and i just taped over the engine light lol
