liking the boot, i had this idea bouncing round my head for ages but jodie likes her current boot so never had the chance to try it.

Cheers, you can pick boots up pretty cheap, just buy a spare one and have a go

I think the plate looks better lower down than that mate, if its up there it interrupts with the lines of the smoothed out bumpstrip.
Edit: But it all looks like its quickly coming together now, looking forward to seeing the body work and wheels all finished!

personal opinion but always think that the number plate look gash anywhere but where it should be.....i'd just shove it in the front window and leave it there

Shove it in the front window and tell police it just fell off.
Get a square plate to the left or right of the widemouth.
Orrrr, i know someone with a jordan civic with smooth front end, and he has a sticker number plate to the left. Looks awesome, don't think it's that legal but he's never been pulled for it

thanks. and not too difficult. ideally there needs to be 2 of you for lifting purposes. I think the most fiddly bit was taking the wiring out the old boot and putting it back into the new one. my best advice or that is to take a few pictures of the wiring before you start stripping it, that way you'll know where it all goes.
