Im running a new 0mile reconditiond engine from hiflow heads built to stock hatch specs just getting the funds together for a good ecu kent cams and other stuff only need the gaz suspension fitted that im ordering.

Its not its the correct head as there is a stamping on my old engine where the water pump was and it was z--- something which was illegal that one thats on the pictures is the correct head and does conform i have been intouch with Giles from 750 and he said this was ok.

I'm comparing the photo of the combustion chamber on the head you've had work done on and the photo of the mk3 prohibited combustion chamber in the regs. They look identical to me, and clearly very different to the mk1 combustion chamber...

Yours, being a 2003 car, 100% is a mark 3 engine. So unless you're now saying the engine isn't your original engine...?
