M10 / M8 bolt though the door and jsut space the MDF off the actually door a bit for clearance, then fill the gap with insulation! might look weird though.
whats the new HU you got going in?
and what you doing with the P600?

good idea but how ive pland it in my head the only parts on the door are going to be 2.5" thick the rest should go down too 12mm. plus being solid 2.5mdf will give the doors some decent strengh.
new headunit is a pioneer avh p6500dvd dvd flip out touch screen job you can add on boxes onto it so it can have sat nav. usb/ipod, bluetooth, dab, tv it will be running my rear screens too
the p6000 i wanted to mount in the boot but due to being skint ive sold it to a friend

Sounds good liam!
Would of been epic to see 6 or 7 tweeters in pods going up the 'A' pillar, but i suppose the cost, the extra wiring and extra fibreglassing sort of killed it off unfortunately?

what kind of wait do you think we are going to have, untill you have them in and trimmed up?

thanks mate true it will be prob only me notice the lack of sq most people who sit in my car think 6x9's are the best SQ drivers in the world lol im mostly doing this setup for the midbass witch is on the music i mostly listen to (rock) plus the open door loudness for when im at shows ect
cant do any more work untill tomorrow next tuesday/wednesday cos i need a set of the 837's to make sure i put the rings in the right places ect plus ive read the external dia is 9.5" witch im hoping is a typo as is gonna make fitting alot more tighter. hoping to get most of the work done by end of the month depends on money

door ideas look good bloke!
but you well know you want to throw some 6x9 in there, just to make it obviously better than anyone else
and going for the 5 sets rather than the 7 looks awesome! that one top left, will look strange! unless you were to trim the plastic the same as the rest! then i can only imagine them getting in the way though, will be close to the Dash and for me thats very near knee height!, atleast you wont have the ones being powered off the HU!

all that weight over time isnt going to do those doors any good . Id guess 6 months of shutting doors and you will find they wont shut without scraping at the bottom.
1st piccy looks good, 2nd piccy looks like the circles ahve been drawn on microsoft paint, out of line etc etc...?
Should be good when its done! are you planning on building up fibregalss from the wood and cutting holes in the wood for magnets to sit through?
