thanks mate just been told once i get the panels on take it back to the sprayer and he is gona blend it all so it looks spot on to the car

didnt use much filler at all i did fill the hole with filler and it worked but wanted it as stronger so poped it out and put fiberglass in too easy enough todo i thought all the smoothing was going to be a pain in the ass todo but its been a fun project in the garage 5am listening to dub sanding away having a beer lol

hmm...very tempted to try it myself as its only £15 for the stuff

just get your self a jig saw with a long blade fiberglass kit form halfords £8.50 then get some filler for like £3

I was going to use a hacksaw, but i suppose jigsaw is easier

could do it with a hacksaw but it would take agesas the plastic is really thick

well manage to get some more wood today and have got both doors 90% done gonna wait for the clue to dry over night flush the speakers in to the pod then fiberglass the gap have made it so i can unbolt the pods from the door on there own and not have to remove the hole door panel witch will make it alot easy to work on and trim ect

looking gd mate. was well looking forward to see and listen to ur install at gallions meet, but u didnt go =[ lol. i was happy with my score i got :

alright mate yeah couldnt make the meet as ive had to pay tax and insurance hopfuly get to next one tho if car is fullydone. so very good scores mate cuple tips for you try closing the heater vents and try 20hz and 25hz with ur window down and have some one cover half the window with there back

going to be testing my car this weekend hoping 2 brake the 152

im sure u wil mate =] i opened the doors and closed them to see if it made a diference. i also found out me port is slightly to large. so going to change tht a little.

so hopefully next meet i wil get louder. =]

i wouldnt mind re doing my door cards to look sumthing like yours but put 6x9's insted.

afters a cuple tests u will find out whats best for your car. once u get the 145 150 is the next step lol

how come you want to go for 6x9's and not round speakers?

i duno y mate, thinks it cos ive not seen many with 6x9's in the doors lol, wat do you think or just goin with comps? also my vibe space comps are £160 a set, and i can get vibe 6x9's abit cheaper lol

have got both door builds to the same level and made them alot stronger just gotta finish off flushing the mids then fiberglass the pods and make it look all fancy. going to be testing the car this weekend so thought i wud get abit more bracing and sealing done too.









well found abit of spare perspex laying around in the garage to thought i would protect the batterys i no some people where worryed about the terminals just incase someone got the idea to chuck there keys on them. have been thinking about how to do it with keeping it looking smart and also be able to charge the batterys without needing any tools. going to have a search for some rubber boots to put over the bolts when not charging
