thought id update a few things.

fcs prep done:

tappets reset
brakes rebled
tyres ordered last night
oil change done

thought id update with some long term plans if all goes well and i get the track bug im gonna be getrting some c5 (alloy) steelies as my track wheels with some ad08's on, if not ill still be getting some c5 steelies for my winter wheels as my mrs is having my black s wheels for her car.

so long term plans:

new airbagged s interior
c5 (alloy) steelies (winter wheels)
re underseal the underneath
take engine ect out and clean/treat/ repaint the bay
a few trips to the bodyshop for a few bits (roof, front bumper, bonnet).
poly bush a new set of lower arms, 2 new track rods, 2 drop links 2 top mounts (to refresh the front alittle bit)

thats about it tbh but as i said LONG term plans haha

just to keep you interested 2 pictures of the car lol

i popped out early so thought id take a picture and decided im bored of my smoked front lights and the mrs liked them so i swopped them over with hers, i also sorted the carpet inside as it had lifted away by the passenger footwell near the door (no pics) and painted my strut brace yellow last weekend but forger to put some pics up.

pics:

it was my birthday wednesday so since my front tyres had started to get low and im going on track at fcs i thought i might aswell get some new rubber, so i ordered another set of falken ze912's wednesday night from camskill and they came first thing friday morning so popped out on my dinner to get them fitted:

cheers for all the nice comments people .

well i know its abit late but i've finally had a free 5 minutes to update it so heres my fcs update, had a cracking day tbh my first experience on track and it certainly wont be my last. I also popped on the rolling road and made a a hole 96bhp which tbh im happy with as the engines only got light mods and is very healthy so its the perfect base for future tuning. i stole a few pictures from the company who took the pics on track.

anyways less talking more pictures:

5 hour cleaning session on saturday 16th at my work as it was raining.
wash, dry, clay, polish, wax, glass cleaned inside and out trim blacked up and wheels cleaned inside and out clayed, polished and wax'd

and my favourite pic:

rolling road vid:

then me and gojka parked on some grass and i took some pics:

heres my rolling road result from fcs not 100% on how accurate is it as they did it in 3rd gear and i've been told your always ment to do it in 4th but im happy non the less as it shows its a nice healthy 90bhp engine that pulls right the the end.

then i had a small leak in the car which i traced back to the aireal so i got a new one from citroen for a wopping £5.89

no pics fitted as we all know what it looks like, went for a drive today and the mrs wanted to show me where she wants to get married (she's not pushy were actually engaged haha) anyway as i was leaving i thought with all this nice land it would be rude not to take a few nice pictures on the way out so please excuse the dirty car and the crap iphone pics cheers dan

Small update:

Found out the vts box wasnt a vts box it was a diesel box but it was buggered anyway, but gojka off here had a spare real vts box but we didnt know the condition as it was untested.

Im happy to say its all working perfectly and the cars alot faster, ive deff lost abit of speed but acceleration is perfect.

How are you finding it with the S box?

I've got one on my VTR and if I'm honest, it pulls allot quicker. I've proved this at the last meet I went too and gave it some beans with DreamEater. I was pulling a good car lenght ahead.

Gear 4 is a great gear for over taking on motorways

im loving it tbh mate its a massive improvement over the r box, only downside is im constantly changing gear when driving normally. only car i've had a play with is a porsche boxster which i was pushing up to lets just say i couldn't go anymore.

it just seems to pull right round in EVERY gear lol only thing that seems to stop the acceleration is the rev limiter lol
