That sounds the best bet tbh, s1 is far too short for that car, plus i imagine you will wont to up boost etc in the future even if your happy with things now, it will happen haha, b.e would be a wise move and probs save in the longrun.

picked these up today for a very good price
some group n (black cap) tarmac spec rear bilsteins, plan is to reduild a rear beam with bigger torsion bars 22/23mm and a 25mm arb

best way to go mate i think, just need to check that it will clear the miltek manifold/turbo once ive collected it then i'll get it done

just wondering mate, not sure what the standard rods are like, just wonder why when it was built, there wasnt forged rods fitted? maybe standard rods are good in these engines? check what sort of boost these can take before you turn up too much though. and make sure yer map is spot on, early ign. is what can fuck a rod.

The bonnet and tailgate are actually original pro comp parts Andrew, the spoiler we made though, although it wont be lacquered as that was years ago when the pre preg was polished up and not lacquered.

Not long until i collect it now, been sourcing a few more parts also
But more amazingly today KEN BLOCK was testing the new a fiesta wrc car at a local air field to me today, spent most of the afternoon driving around the airfield as nobody was allowed in trying to get the best view. Managed to get a cheeky video when he took a break and went back to services - uploading now
