nah not yet, progress with the bumper and other body stuff is on hold, its booked in for the rear to be lowerd next monday and ive gotta spend wot little cash ive got on the stuff to finish the alloys asap as ive got a puncture on the front left wheel atm and also gotta buy tax end of this month
so guna be lowerd by next week, hopefully the alloys will be done in 2-3 weeks as ive got hardly anytime then the bumper and other body stuff should be done about 2-3 weeks after that. wish i had a few weeks off and some spare cash!

cheers. anybody got preference on what height would be best for the rear? 60mm,70mm or 80mm? (its already down 10-20 with the boot build)
Here it is now (down 50 at front):

thats down 50mm? What springs and dampers are you using bud, looks slightly higher than my 1.1 down 40mm
I'd go for 50mm rear to keep things level, however with a boot build in the rear it should settle it to 60mm and that would look spot on tbh.
Looking good matey

ye, well measured up its down 48mm. using standard shocks with G-max springs. was gutted about the height drop tbh, for the height i want its guna have to be more like 80mm on the front but havnt got funds for coilovers so will have to settle for that now. ye i was thinkin the rear down 60.. but i love the look of the posi flat arch on here that was dropped 90-100 so the 80mm is also tempting.
what springs/shocks you using?

I'm using spax 40mm springs and spax dampers bud.
Yeah it would look immense slammed, kraigleeders sax was one of my fave slammed flat arch's. The thing is you don't want the rear too low and the front sticking up. Will mess the balance up completely and will look silly
Good luck on finding a decent set of coilovers

ye thats the one, i was on about loved that flat arch. ye your right thats what im afraid of if i take it to low while the front is sitting high, its guna look bad, understeer will be immense too. I think ill get it down 80 n see what's what. The only reason its going to the garage is cos i cant get the bars out so once they had them out will be easier for me at home i guess i can change it myself if im not happy with it.

no rubbage at all and i picked my bro n sis up from school to, they got in back still no problems.... did have to go another way though as i sorta got caught short on some speed bumps lol! also got told if i run these 165's on my vtr rims ill get no rubbage once there on (should be 2 weeks or so.)
ye its gotta be dropped more at the front most definatly, the 70mm springs are appealing but im abit short of cash atm and i really wona get the bumper and alloys finished first, got to much clutterd up in my garage!
gotta say that manic motors were excellent, nipped for some munch while they done it and returned 2 hours later car was all finished. also sorted out some new bolts and washers for me.... i had a bolt missing out of one of the shocks (it wasnt attached to the car! WTF) cost me £50 all in so not a bad price i thought.very recommenable and the guys were spot on that i spoke to

i was suprised how low it sat for 70mm, considering a few people have gone 100! i have realised a small problem though, theres speed bumps on my estate, as it sits now the back gets over fine but only with about 2cm to spare... i planned on a rear splitter and sideskirts so the back may have to be raised slightly will have to see.
