You mean those LED strips? Not illegal at all. They are the same brightness as the daytime running lamps that new cars have.
But yes, The police do like looking at the car!

Ohh. To be honest, I misjudged wheremy bonnet comes in front of my lights - so they barely shine out! I'll post some updated pics when I get round to fixing them.

Ufffft!! Your car is beast mate!! Loving the chalk board look i've seen this car on another website either gumtree or pistonheads and was jaw dropped with admiration. Such a ballsy thing to do!! And the glow in the dark neon green looks awesome but the orange is such a contrast it goes really well either way.
Full props man!!
P.s. where did you do the paint work on that car? Did you do it all yourself as i'm looking to get a paint job for my car and could do with some pointers on how to reduce the cost etc. London is too expensive.

Thanks! The chalkboard is certaintly different, I did it all myself.
Yeah, my car was on pistonheads for a while when I was thinking what to do with it! I do like the orange, but I've had it for a few months now, so was thinking of a change!
I've become quite good at the whole car painting thing now! Depends what sort of finish you want on your car... I'm sure I can give you some pointers.
There are three types of finish basically; Matt, Satin and Gloss. You need to decide if you want shine in the paint first! I have matt chalkboard, and you basically just need to rub the car down with some wet and dry and prime it. With chalkboard, you can basically roller the paint on, and keep rolling to get rid of any streaks!
If you want a hand with anything, Just drop me a PM and I'll try and help. I've done Matt, Satin and Gloss finishes on things now!
__
With my car, I'm just trying to get it ready for the meet on saturday basically. Over the christmas period I'm going to be refurbing my wheels again.. Haven't decided on either orange or glow in the dark yet. Also have some plans for little mods. But it depends on when my stuff from ebay gets here!
I'll update next when I've got some progress!

Euro would look awesome, I'd love to go down that route. Just need some casssh for some nice deep wheels! People are often surprised at the end result of the car when I describe whats been done!
But I do really fancy going euro next, smooth and low with my paint etc...

Yeah, my paint was in bad condition, especially when I put my VT kit on in all colours! Chalkboard came out quite nicely! Although the grit / salt and not washing it has made it a horrible finish on the bottom - So shall be sorting that out next week I do want to try glow in the dark next!

There is a guy called Jungle on here with a 106, I think he did it to one wheel if I remember!? But never saw any night shots or anything. Hasn't been done to VTR wheels to my knowledge.
I am going to see if I can get some special glow in the dark paint from america that is orange as standard, and then glows orange too? That way I can keep my orange!
