Spoiler feels good.
Would like to test it at my local with and without...
However its going to be removed now for the BYC Wing.
I like the maxisport spoiler but require something more extreme.

It should allow you to stiffen the rear up for sharp turn in on the slower corners but then give you the stability at high speed

Yet to be fitted. Honestly expected some sort of abuse about the wing though

Well it will be interesting to find out if it provides too much downforce compared to the one you have. You've been down this route before and the setup was not quite right. The other thing to test will be the size of the wing end plates and how they affect the downforce during the corner itself when the yaw angle increases and downforce is lost due to the way the air flows over the wing

Did you actually need more rear end grip on a FWD car or is this just to keep up with the nutty aero which is the current 'thing' in TA

It can work when done right but its not a case of bolting it on without a good look at the suspension setup as well. Personally I like underfloor diffusers as these do not cause the drag a wing gives so less impact on top speed. Spoox just run a diffuser and it seems to work well.

I had a diffuser off an Exige fitted to mine, mainly for looks though
I was always under the impression that it was preferred to have a 'loose' rear end on a FWD car or is this all drivers preference?

personally --i tired it on ax race car --diffusers -- totally panelled in bottom of car with tunnel at rear ,then big spoiler on boot --difference was not really measurable --but the drag was
I think the top speeds you get on uk circuits is not enough to see a big difference
if you set it up for low speeds corners then you need a surplus of bhp to pull it round the track + of course more things to get knocked off when you have a woopsy .
sucking car on road only really works if you can get it with 25mm of ground ,and all regs ,unless they changed have a minimum ride height ,to stop that ,and also cut down number of cars stuck in gravel traps etc
never had a problem with FWD car oversteering so much it needs back nailed down at expense of forward motion -- If you got 1000bhp turbo monster you can afford to loose 100 bhp for aero,s to nail it down
now if they allowed movable ones --that might be different
just my view
think most re fitted cos they look "cool"

Like you john i have to try it myself.
Byc are sorting out a front splitter to counter balance the wing a little too so the front end wont be left as it forever.
I can only go as low as 40mm when static.
