Default My track VTS project ;) *****FCS09 - the race is on ;)*****

right then people, 1st off id like to apologise for all the people that got their hopes up about buying parts from my car, but i have decided to keep it and finish it off, i cant sell it, its too hard!! LOL. All the things that i did sell to people have been posted though so dont worry guys!

I will give you a quick few pics of the mods that have been done to it and i think you will like . Let me know what you think anyway!!

The engine is a very high spec, most of which was built by QEP, it is yet to be run in and mapped so i have no power figures as yet but watch this space...

The spec of the engine is as follows -

Jenvey independent throttle bodies
Custom QEP inlet manifold made to give correct angle and length and to match the head
4.5bar fuel pressure regulator
GMC 420cc injectors
KMS ECU with custom loom so ecu is in the car
KMS wideband lambda and display
JE custom oversized high compression pistons
Forged conrods with ARP2000 rod bolts
QEP extra bigger valved head
catcams 810 cams
catcams oversized solid lifters (31mm)
catcams valve springs
Peugeot sport sump baffle kit
Piper vernier pulleys
GMC aluminium bottom pulley
OMP Fast road paddle clutch kit
Standard VTS gearbox with Quaiffe ATB diff

I have probably missed bits out too. The bottom end has had a full rebuild with new bearings, new oil pump, reground crank etc, and the head has new valve stem seals too. All gaskets are new genuine citroen ones too.

a few pics of engine bits -

I also have an ETB digidash to go in

A full OMP weld in rollcage -

Wilwood 4pot front brakes

I have braided brake lines and all the associated fixings from speedflow to use with a Wilwood bias valve! And i have also removed the ABS

I have braided fuel lines with a custom made swirl pit and external fuel pump

The interior if fully stripped out, i have even removed the unwanted wires!! I have a flocked dash and Corbeau Revolution bucket seats with OMP 4 point harnesses

I have also relocated the fuse box from under the bonnet to behind the dash! And the heaters has been removed too with a heated windscreen fitted to stop the steaming up of the screen!

Coilover conversion suspension with Bilstein Group N dampers used

A few pics of how she looks atm without a front bumper on -

And now the mod that i am happiest with so far is the Streamline Carbon Fibre Roof!! I recieved car back on sunday from the guys at streamline and all i can say is WOW!! I knew it would be good but wasnt expecting it to be this good!! Fair play to the lads at streamline, top quality service and products!! Defo recommend them to you all, i know they may be a little expensive but trust me you will not be disappointed!! You get what you pay for!!!!

There are loads of things that ive missed out like a LHD wiper conversion, and Streamline carbon fibre mirrors and coilpack cover etc, but as and when i fit them all you will find out!

Progress is going to be slow for the near future as i am moving into my own house soon, but keep a look on here and i will update as and when progress is made! Time to start saving again!!

the steel roof was cut off and replaced with the carbon fibre 1! It cost alot yes but well worth it!! Especially when the sun shines down on it!

Looking good mate, if I'd known you were having a carbon roof I could have saved you a fortune!!!

Why the LHD wiper conversion?

now u say, o well. defo money well spent. LHD wiper conversion is because i have cut the bulkhead for the TBs so moving the motor over to the other side of the scuttle means more room for cold air for the TB's
