Hi folks
Had some issues crop up lately with my saxo. It's only a little 1.1 and I'll be replacing it towards the summer but I want to know what the problems are and see if i can fix them so that long distance journeys don't cause any more problems for the car.
My front wheels at full lock clunk a great deal and jump, I understand this might be bearings/cv joint is this correct?
At speed and this seems to have gotten worse over the weeks when driving at speed, coming off the accelerator and maybe touching the brakes causes an almighty rubbing noise (intermittently like every few seconds when coming down in speed) on the front left wheel, it start around 60-70mph but I've noticed it now at 40-50mph. I think this is related to the first issue.
And then to round it off (I think they're all related) I noticed when going around a roundabout at speed the back right wheel makes a little noise it sounds like a clunk or a rub like the second issue.
Thoughts? If it's perhaps a quick repair I will invest in it but I'm not gonna get new driveshafts as they'll be worth more New than the car itself lol
