Opinions BLACK steels?!
UPDATE:
Door handle FIXED
All metal in car and boot space compounded and polished
New Decals ordered just waiting on delivery
Had a flat tyre issue for a few weeks and have traced it to rim leaking. Also got 4 fairly shot tyres on the steels. Have ordered some nice new pirreli tyres (P6000 closest to the original pirreli fitted as standard).
Am sending the wheels off for a shot blast and powder coating tomorrow so have borrowed some 16's of Andy_K (what a great mate ).
Now the car looks silly ish as its not lowered but was wondering black wheels?!!!!
OPINIONS???

fair does.
i just think black wheels blend in with the tires
where with the white it breaks up the colour

ASW time.
My S2 with black wheels to give you an idea.
They look great with black or white wheels though. I wish I could afford a set of each so I could swap over occasionally.....

Going for white as i think that is probably best for steels as they will look abit like normal steels in black and not rallye ones as i am tryin to keep the car standard. Black alloys in the future maybe though.
Also got news my new decals will be with me some time after the 6th September which is a shame as i wanted the new bootlid ones for trax

POWDER COATED
Wheels back from powder coating at CAS coatings in Bradford. Really good job at a awsome price for blasting and a powder coat. Fitted them with some Khumo's. Was meant to be Pirreli P6 but in 175/60/14 they are on back order from Pirelli for the forseable future
Fitted them tonight
Also cleaned up the arches a bit. No signs of rust really almost new to be fair
Will just paint over the little bits of surface once i have treated them.
Also organised a photo shoot with my photographer mate sometime in the next few weeks which i am looking forward too. Will post up when its sorted

Bad news the top end has gone badly wrong, pulling at 6,500rpm and the oil pressure has dropped and now the top end is banging away to its self. Going to have to rush the new VTR on the road so I can start the rebuild of this I have been planning.
More updates to come
