You need a custom center exit exhaurst im not a fan of the saxsport, I think the pugsport looks spot on.

Sam, I have been pondering that for a while. I will be having a look into it at some point.
Yeah the two systems are the same with just different hangers.
Prickle... Like the sound and the weight saving and the little pea shooter pipe!

They also look different, Saxsport exits to the left of the backbox and the Pugsport exits in the center if I remember correctly.

not quite the same, the bends differ slightly and the tailpipe exits centrally in the pugsport as mentioned due to it being underslung and no cutout.
but in essence yes they are "the same"

Ahh yeah, I see now. My bad.
Really liking the idea of a stealthy centrally lined setup to balance the weight out a bit.

Maybe you could adapt a pugsport one if you Weld some new hangers on it??
They are more readily available second hand.

Does the backbox being on the rear passenger side not do exactly that where it is with the driver sat in the car?

Not too sure but I know the piper is a good weight... not as heavy as a Magnex though and I know the Saxsports are lighter than both.

ooh... here...
The weight of the standard exhaust system on a VTS is around 15.8kgs (cat = 3.7kgs, centre = 4.6kgs, back box = 7.5kgs) compared to the weight of the Saxsport being 9.1kgs (centre pipe = 3.4kgs, back box = 5.7kgs). A weight saving of 6.7kgs.

Just found this on Kams site....
The combined weight of the Supersprint stainless steel backbox and the Supersprint stainless steel race center exhaust pipe (without mid silencer) is only 8.6kg making it the lightest on the market!
Looks like I'm wrong again then!!! hahaha
Straight cut back box it is then!
