Default vts 5th gear

hi folks,

i was wondering if this is a roumour or can the 5th gear actualy be changed?

people say that you can change the 5th gear on MA gearboxes without taking them all apart. just the end case?

i am very mechanicaly minded and have all the tools and workshop to do it.

i heard there were 3 different 5th gear options.

43/33 0,76744
47/32 0,68085
41/35 0,85366

what is the diffrances in these 5th gears??

any help apreciated

cheers

Yes it's true.
There was a time that I was running in my VTS the 33 5th gear.

Does that give a better cruising speed?

Mine is wank. 80mph = 4k. Not efficient at all

I know that with the 33 5th gear I could get more top speed.
On the time I was running the 33 5th gear, my ECU was standard, so the cheapest way to gain top speed was to install that 5th gear.
