Yeah i had been thinking about that.
Thing is my parents bought me the olympus so wouldnt want to offend them and moneys a bit, erms, tight at the minute. We shall see though

If you can get by atm id suggest trying to keep at it with what you have.
Then when you have money make a choice if you want a bigger lens or if you feel you need to switch to say canon or Noink.
I know what its like with sentiment, my 30D was my 21st bday present, so even though now I am looking at replacing it It wont be sold because its more than just a camera.

Knowing my mum it'll be the 'whats wrong with the camera we got you?,it wasnt cheap you know' etc etc
Is it worth the hassle? lol! They just extended the insurance thing on it too

Shame you are noth a southerner, between myself and lady sayer, we have a few bodies from the canon range and a stack of glass you could try to see if you felt the move to canon would be good for you or if you then realise you dont need to and can be just as happy with the olympus.

Yeah the canon/nikon have alot more available for them and more variable prices.
Never had a problem with the Olympus. More my faults than the cameras

I think the only issue you have is glass availablity tbh, youve said before you struggle to get decent glass at good ££££...
Having said that, canons L glass isnt cheap, my asshole can vouch for that LOL!

I enjoy it alot more now that i understand a bit better what im meant to be doing (setting wise) Before i didnt really understand where i was going wrong and just got really frustrated with myself.
Still have alot to learn though
