Talk about attention to detail
A detail on a brand new Astra VXR Nurgurgring edition
http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=81391
Quite a good read.

so it was a brand new car and he spent three days detailing it?
i love a clean car but some fowk have too much time on their hands...
also:

i dont even use RO water in my aquariums !
EDIT: 51 layers of wax... come on!
I read down to where the pictures stopped uploading (brushing out the interior)
attention to detail is fab but too far for a daily runner in my opinion. think he ruined the look slightly the car when the alloys were changed. but then again, who is meticilous enough to clean their wheels (properly) 4 or 5 times a week?
I want my vts to be spankingly clean but will get myself a day to day runner while i do it and then use the s when i want to (after the winter/salt/grit is gone)

What a good read.
Spent about a hour reading all that, every word lol.
But 51 layers is just overkill, he even said himself after 7 he didn't notice much difference.
edit: Think it was at trax?

amazing what you can do with a cnc machine (thats my job) but it can be boring as hell sometimes

Insane, its the best, saddest, coolest, most ridiculous, brilliant, idiotic.....etc
Bloke is nuts and must literally have no life. However maximum respect, its 100% tailored to him and I expect he will be buried in it.
He is a big fan of the word juxtapose and it took all my strength not to use it after reading it so many times.
NUTS

I have ultimate respect for the man but when you go to those sorts of lengths, a car stops being a car imo.

That is crazy though, I don't have the patience for that, bit ridiculous.

There is keeping your car clean and then there is being a noob and he is the latter. Neighbours probably think 'that dick from next door is cleaning his car AGAIN'

I want to key that mans car so badly!! Who spends £££££'s on a brand new car, then takes it home so he can sit in his garage for hours and find microscopic faults in the paintwork to fix!! That guys way too OTT imo
