Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens
I bought one over the weekend shal take some pics asap.
What are peoples thoughts on these?
So far im very impressed!

is the the £500 one of the cheap craper one.
there is a 75-300 and a 70-300 both with IS, one is huge compared to the other.

Its the huge one, i have both one going for sale & the other doesnt have IS

i was looking at these when deciding whether or not to get the canon 70-200 F4 L especially as it has IS. so i will be interested to see some pics. only thing that stopped me getting one is that i saw a 70-200 f4 going cheap and in the reviews i read it seems that its a little sharper

complete different between the two man, it's a good lens but not even close to the 70-200 L range. It soften's at 300mm the IS is 2 stop (iirc), the AF is slower, CA's at wide open.
It's not terrible though, but not great if you're wanting pukka shots

yup thats why i opted for the 70-200
this review was quite helpfull, see the lens comparison test about halfway down the page

Going to seriously have to look into getting a decent long lense after having a play with Sayer's today.

Other better lens's were out of my range tbh, so far i like it although id like to test it properly and post some pics up
