you could fix the license plate under the black bit, if you look at 106s they have a bit like carved out bumper for it, could try get somethin like that done

you can buy plate reseces that you cut into ur bumper so it looks standard

You cant buy them 'off the shelf' as it were but you can go to a scrap yard and get a 106 bumper and use the recess of that or any other car that has one on the bumper. Any good bodyshop will be able to smooth it into the saxo bumper for you.

hour and half away i was up that way a couple of weeks in guisborough i was staying in middelsborough well just outside
it will save me £200 though and im hopefully getting a spare tailgate
