Which one??? 360 or PS3
Throughout my games console career I have had
1.Sega MasterSystem
2.Sega MegaDrive
was gonna go for the sega saturn, but got the
3.Playstaion (Day it came out )
4.PS2 (have had 3 of these, still got two)
Also bought a Sega Dreamcast to go with the PS2
5.Sold the dreamcast and had a X-Box.
6.Gave the X-Box to my little 4year old bro who lives with my dad.
I prefer the PS2 over the XBox.
But now the time has come for a PS3 or an X-Box360.
The price for the 360's are good.... but the extra 100quid or so for a PS3 is tempting.
Which one do you sax-p-ers recommend?

Jimo, never had problems with my xbox and ps2, but they are not pushed as much as new consoles are.
I had a 360, sold it to a friend. 2 weeks later it broke.. i got lucky.
I enjoy my ps3 more than I did my 360.. ps3 does lack online gaming a little but it's getting better every update. The games that are due for release soon are going to be immense. I'll bet you as soon as the ps3 drops in price all these 'loyal' 360 players go and buy one.

Go and search google for PS3 retruns and Xbox360 returns.
I honestlly can say, most people I know who have had 360 have had them break. It's not the only issue though,
HD-DVD is capable of holding 30GB or a full-length high-definition movie, plus extras, on a prerecorded double-layer disc (compare that to today's limit of 9GB for standard double-layer DVDs). Blu-ray will go up to 50GB at launch, and Sony is reportedly working on a quad-layer 100GB disc. Cake-box me a stack of those, please.
PS3 has so much more to give than what it has so far.

See were this is going?.. look into the future.

360. Very similar graphics for a cheaper price. All the 360's with the "ring of doom" that are sold now have a 65nm CPU instead of 90. Meaning they run cooler and hence do not die
Plus youve got 3 year warranty. Sorted 360 it is. The only reason I would get a PS3 is if they knocked 150 quid off the price tag.... and got the equivilant of xbox live.

Beta Max was by far the best, but look which video system won that battle =/
I would say im a gamer, never loyal to any particular console. If theres a game i want and its exclusive to a console ill probably go buy the console...
As soon as the PS3 comes down in price im gonna get one, but cant justify one at full price while ive got 20 xbox 360 games too finish yet =/
I would say if your looking to buy a console to get gaming on now and have the money in the future to buy the other then get a 360 as more games are available and better online etc.
But if the next console you get will be owned for years to come untill it breaks or the next gen console is announced or available then get a ps3 it is the future. Plus a 360 will break many times before a next gen console is even though about =/ Im on my second 360 but dont begrudge them at all, great customer service and easy exchange for a brand new console...

Aye, ps3 dis-advantages = price/lack of games at the moment but it's still a pretty new console.
It has 'home' coming out soon what is going to be pretty good, 3d world etc for free. It still won't beat xbox live.. after owning a 360 and playing the live i think anything will be hard pressed to topple the xbox live.
