Car won't start and has orange flashing keylight
Hello all.
My car has been seeming quite jolty for a while, mechanic said it'll be fine just let it sit for 5 minutes after starting it up, it passed its MOT.
Well now it completely died when I was out and had to have it towed to a garage. The garage held it for a week, told me it's fine to collect and charged me nothing. Turned out they just replaced a 20 amp fuse in the engine fusebox and it broke down 2 minutes round the corner so I got it recovered to my house.
The orange flashing keylight is on and the car just will not start, but each time you replace the 20 amp fuse in the engine fusebox it starts and as soon as you drive it, it stops again and its immobilised. I was told I'm going to need an electrician so going to be trying to get a mobile mechanic to come out and take a look, oh also to add it makes a weird sound almost whilst the orange keylight is flashing, like an error sound but very rarely, like a warning when you leave the lights on or something.
Wondering if anyone has any suggestions or know what price I might be looking at to fix this? Anything I can do? It's a 1.1 Citroen Saxo East Coast, 1999.
