I've always heard that the Omex ones are quite difficult to map correctly.
I'm going to use a DTA one on the 309 as I'll map most of the car myself from a generic map and using a wideband lambda. Then get it off to a RR to tweak to perfection
Note: if you are planning to use a wideband the Raceland manifold kills them due to a badly angled sensor. Make sure you have a different manifold

would a dastek unichip help the problems of mapping a standard 3 plug ecu? if the standard ecu tries to alter the map after its been remapped would a dastek stop this? certainly sounds alot cheaper than spending money getting a loom wired in and seems like a better option than remapping the standard 3 plug. Obviously not for cars with ITB'S or forced induction but for breathing mods and cams...

as said before dave walker sells emeralds and is a superb mapper, and if you buy the ecu from him irc the mapping is a great price to.
