Just got back :-) well video was wank got lots of the floor... First speed bump and facing the deck... Shit... Other than that, possible driveshaft noise and horrendous tappits!!! All seems to be good... Well and the release bearing to be fair that wines... And the clutch is possibly abit fucked... But easily fixable stuff :-) seat is sooo comfy!! Wheels in a good position not struggling with no power steering or anything :-) there maybe a few more repairs todo before t-day (test day) just so itll last the time im out there :-)

Tappits and plugs done... She runs sweet as ill try and get a video of it later on, youll have to excuse the release bearing noise... Itll be changed soon :-)

Video up, i pull the clutch arm away and the release bearing noise disapears... The motors cold hence the run on but its quiet agen now, and for a totally standard engine its got a bark ;-) i got a feeling about this engine ;-) (i know i cant use that head). Compression tested it and there all exactly 196-197 its difficult to read on my gauge but there all exactly the same! :-). So rings are good as well as pistons :-)

It looks fairly new mate, tbh i havent even checked the tension on it, it could very well be dirty and on the looser side... Ill have a look when next under the bonnet :-)

Went through all the bars last night and marked them up so it makes sense to me, bloody northeners!! (nothampton) dont make sense, had to put it into normal, but its all ready to go in and be welded up :-)

4 brand new a048's ordered for next week :-) hopefully tuesday... Maybe friday... Hope tuesday... Then can get out next week :-) looks like a very long weekend on gettin the cage welded in and all prepped up for next week... Uh oh!!! Aloota aloota work... Kinda all dawning on me now... Lol

Well sunroof out now, can fit the cage in properly now :-) probably start welding it tomorrow when a mate from work come over to help me with the welding bit, but until then ive gotta clean and prep the rest of the car to be able to take to it :-) fun fun :-s
