The shields are rubbish. They are so easy to take down providing you aren't camping in a corner, and even then my semtex sticks to your face.
Awesome game though.

Shields are very effective actually, you just need to know how to use them properly. Agree with the semtex, although that will stick to anything, shield or no shield.

As long as you are against someone that panics when the sheild comes at them, or the sheild guy knows what they are doing.
Most of the time they are noobs and don't know what they are doing with it. Just run around.

Nah man, never use a shotty with a sheild. Always got to be the USP or something. Maybe even the M93 Raffica. Or, you can lob a throwing knife after them. That works very well.
Even if they crouch you can still hit their feet if they aren't at the right angle though.

M16/ACR/UMP are my favourite guns.
Stopping Power Pro most of the time, Ninja Pro always.
My first class sometimes Marathon Pro, Scavenger Pro or Bling Pro. Have a few classes with each.

Using the blast shield will protect you from a semtex stuck to your riot shield. I've tried using the riot shield a few times and just can't get on with it. People seem to shoot straight though it.
