Is it not worth getting then?
This is the second thing I've heard about dodgy handling

It's realistic, wait till the tyres warm up.

I've found its realistic but you can't drift for shit on it. As soon as any inertia is thrown about, you just spin out.
I just stick in the Clio cup car though, it's most fun haha

drive club is better more predictable handling but pj cars is a lot better game. you do need to adapt to the handling. there are some changes to control setup that can help, but also make things bloody terrible lol

i found it quite good tbh, there are some annoying niggles.
main thing i don't like is that everything is 'open' from the beginning.

Cool. I will get it and give it a go sounds good tho! Can you do more tuning with the cars so more like forza for the Xbox?

I dont think there is any tuning available only set up changes. Think of grid rather than forza.

Google settings for best handling. Some chaps put some bits up regarding dead zone, throttle responce, controller smoothing etc... Loads better.

There's been reports of a bug with the XBone controllers set up, a lot of people complaining about there being no adjustment to the steering lock, i.e. its either on or off..

whats your problem?
other than in the wet, i'm finding it pretty good, in the wet you can tail the ai cars exactly and you can go as fast round a corner, its like the physics dont change for them

I think he wanted to change coilovers, add turbos etc rather than just tweaking the setup.
I don't get why people compare it to Driveclub, that was so unrealistic and arcadey. This is a simulator, not really a game. The joy comes from shaving half a second off your lap, not holding a sick drift.
It's not comparable to forza, GT5 etc, it has it's own genre. People think it's difficult and therefore not worth buying. Try jumping straight into a Ginetta in the wet and see how you get on.

Yup, that will stop the full lock issue that I'm experiencing. I still think a lot of people will struggle though.
