if its from the ipod it wont be as loud as a cd ...
but
for some serious bass, Lollipop by lil wayne, Flobots Handle bars, or get some bass testers... that annoying high pitched, 20khz to 20hz has some SERIOUS bass at the end! ... ask liam_b he plays some serious bass in his.

The new BEP song is pretty thumpy, although might have been the car rattling.

imo you are going to get a better result, in some long winded bass lines, rather than thumping. long notes, which change pitch would be best results to keep the sub flexing... you can download 00s of bass testers from palces like limewire or what not, i got probs around the 300 mark on my hard drive!

oizo - flat eric tune is bassy as hell, but as said converting anyhting to i-pod wont give a real indication unless you convert it at 320kps and not the usual ipod setting.

wadadda - brixton biznizz
nuff said
its on youtube btw
oh and btw, even 320kbps isnt that great to all that have said it. most CD's (pre-recorded from actual label etc) run the tracks at over 1000kbps. your comp just converts them to a much lower rate
hence the fact for 80 mins you get a 700mb CD

Any dubstep mate, search google for:
Artists:
Nero
Bar9
Digid
Skream
Caspa
Rusko
Benga
501
There all good artists that have VERY heavy bass, 26Basslines by Benga or Way Of The Dub by Caspa are amasing! Warning, playing these will make you deaf! aha
