Honda Accord 2.4 CL9 - For Sale
So after my key thread. Bit of an anti climax lol, but heres the replacement for the Integra.
Its a Honda Accord 2.4 Type S 2003. Full service history. Just turned 70k miles. They're 189bhp, vtec engages at 6000rpm and the rev limiter is 7200rpm. Very comfortable with half leather interior, cruise control, duel climate control, Air Con, inside it is very quite.
Mechanically it is perfect. Interior is perfect. Its history is perfect. But the exterior is letting it down. The alloys are kerbed with about an inch combined on all 4 which isnt kerbed. Dints on the front bumper and boot and a few scuffs.
Plans for the car:
-Fix up the exterior
-Evo 8 Enkei Alloys
-Decent Tyres
-Yellow Stuff Pads
-EBC Discs
-Mugen Spoiler
-2006> front bumper
-Lowered slightly
-De-chrome
-Double Din HU
-LSD
-Clean up engine bay
-Fully Underseal
-Mugen bits!
Then in the future:
-ARBs
-Braces etc

I really like those, but mainly in White.
I can't imagine it will be as fun as the Teg though.

Dont think you can get the Type S in white. I know you can the Euro R obviously, and I adore those. Its what I aim to base this on.
You are right though, no where near as fun. Ive already been through one phase with the car. First impression was I love it, then after the drive home I was a lil underwhelmed with such little feedback in comparison to the Integra. However, the steering is still weighted just not the same as the Integra and the drive is comfortable yet stable with little body roll for a saloon.
Im going to improve it like I say to the Euro R model. I dont really use the Integra to its full capability, only for a commute to work and back and on that journey il only push it on one roundabout so its abit of a waste of a car. The Integra is more practical for my commute of dual carriageways and giving 2 other people a lift.

First bit of progress (the gay one)
Ive only gone n washed it aint I.
Well. Over the weekend, IronX's, Tar Removered, Clay Barred, Polished, Waxed. Just trying to clean the body work as much as possible to see what really needs doing. I did the driver side yesterday and got rid of a lot of marks which I thought might have been more severe, but its come up really well.
Going to do the passenger side today however that side seems to be alot worse.
Also made a folder with loads of pics of the damage to the exterior which needs sorting. so il update the thread with a list of the bodywork issues once ive finished the mini detail.

New Plans, re furb the wheels, finish off the mini detail on the front and rear of the car and sell it.
Had someone come up to me yesterday and ask if the Honda has had a respray because the front and rear look dull compared to the sides, so I really need to finish the clean up operation lol

Oh right haha. Well my mate has a 325i msport and he now wants a 330 as servicing costs and running costs including insurance are actually no different in reality. Also they're best part of a second faster 0-60 I believe?
How come you sold the tegi anyway?

Yeh about a second quicker I think making it sub 7 seconds. servicing costs I would say are identical to the 325, mpg I cant comment on as ive never owned a 325 before!
Sld the teg as the miles were starting to get high and I just fancied an Accord! Now I fancy a BMW again lol

Yeah that sounds about right. I think you're better off with 330 over a 325. His 325 isn't slow obviously but I think you'd be the same and wish you'd got a 330 haha! He only got his 325 as it came up cheap at a mates garage.
Fair enough that makes sense. I think a bmw over the accord is a wise choice.

Nah thats how it is. Its very drivable below 6k and its not really a car you would drive enthusiastically so I dont see the need for it to have vtec below 6k, but tbf.
