Default RCA lead connection problem

I'm wiring in a built in sub and amp for a mate, which 9/10 times is a straight forward job, but this time it's not.... There's no RCA lead plugs in the back of the headunit which has stumped me a bit, I've also taken the back plate of the headunit to see if there hidden behind that and there not

How do you get round this? Is there an off the shelf adaptor which plugs in between the RCA leads and the headunit, or do you have to splice the wiring on the RCA leads?

Thanks in advance

You can buy an adapter but you have to splice into the head units wires by taping into the rear speaker wires very easy to do just need a soldering iron however he/she won't have the function a head unit with built on RCAs will have choice is for them to make

Get a HU that has rca outputs, there is no point running adapters, it will never sound how it is meant or as well as it could as the HU is not intended to run it.

Cheers for the comments guys, my mate insisted that I used his headunit, so instead of using the rca's (low output), I ended up using the high output plug that goes into the amp, and wire off them into the rear speakers... absolute ball ache but got there in the end
