iirc thats the idle control valve, cant remember where the pipe goes tho

You sure mate? I thought the ICV was on the throttle body end?

yep, pretty sure it you remove that it will have a silver shaft and a black head, its on the throttle body on the vts, but its there on my old vtr.

well i been out and looked, but its all been taken apart as someone was gunna buy the head but the pipe is a wonky c shape, the other end is a bit bigger than the end that you have circled in green but has a solid plastic joiner fitted inside it.

its the idle control valve, its either supposed to be plumbed back into the filter system as in the pic above
or just put a breather filter directly on to it if you have an aftermarket induction on
