Unfortunately through this site I've met cunts like Joseph and Brett.
In all seriousness though, I wouldn't have the cars I do now or the interest in them or driving on track if it wasn't for this site.
Downgrade where needed and keep forum.

See what has happened here, I have met Josh, Josh bums Joe, Josh also wrote off his Saxo and now I've bought another one.
SAXP YOU HAVE A LOT TO ANSWER FOR.

Either way it will remain on it's wheels and the roof will not touch the floor. Although its so high atm that a sharp turn could result in the roof touching the floor.

If she smells of shame and disappointment then I know where she has been at least.
Your mum should be home soon also ... awkward.

Its not fair at all for simo to pay for this site out of his own pocket (that everyone uses freely) so i vote for the downsize.
It would be a huge huge loss to shut the site down, the amount of information on here is priceless and has helped thousands of people out. keep the forum going.
I would also retain the Saxperience name.
It would be nice for saxp to merge with 106 owners as one site - could be an option maybe, but maybe not.

I think downsizing and just keeping the forum would be the best bet. I am sure there is a huge percentage of forum users who, like me, have never even used other parts of the site.
As has already been said, to lose such a great forum that contains a wealth of information would be such a shame. Yes a lot of us have moved onto other cars but I personally still have the Saxo as a second car/ongoing project and feel that the information available to us on this forum is invaluable.

Hi Simo,
Hope you are well! Not sure if my opinion counts, but water under the bridge now!
From someone who hasn't come on the site for the last 5 years, for the benefit of the other members, I do think downgrading has got to be a better option. The site is its heyday was a brilliant site, lots of banter, loads of good members and fantastic meets - shame how all of that stops with the likes of Social Media.
There is a lot of information on this site, for anyone buying a Saxo for track use or just day to day - I am sure there is a few around still and some old members kicking around! I agree with getting rid of anything not worth keeping - the garage, arcade and lot of the other pages!
I'll cast my vote now!

switch to AWS or another cloud platform? No way a site this size should cost that much to run in my experience.
