You balancing the camera on something or is it on a tripod? Tripod is a must for this kinda thing!

I've been wanting to have a go at this for a while now....... now that I have bought myself a DSLR I'll get out and have a go at some point, but the weather is suppose to be crap this weekend.

Defo try it again with a tripod (if you didnt use one but from the movement in the street lights i dont think you did) or rest it on something, make sure it cant fall though
Id take several shots and layer them on photoshop. That way you would get even lights on either side rather than a random car passing by
DO NOT move the camera at all though or they will not combine properly.

try using a timer dude... otherwise you'll introduce camera shake when you're pressing the button... secondly try it from different angles as it gets done quite a lot... nothing wrong with that but you want to make yours stand out more if you know what I mean...
I went for a dusk shot, so the viewer has a little more to look at then just trails

honestly dude, its not that hard. I tend to put bugger all effort into my photos, like the above one I should have adjusted the white balance and all that blah blah... but at the end of the day its for my own enjoyment and fuck all else

Their were 3 of us and only one tripod so i was resting mine of the railings of the bridge.... but it was so damn cold i couldn't keep my hands still lol!
I've now bought a tripod so will try this again.
