exhaust strange problem
Hi guys, recently joined. Excellent forum for help , currently on 4th saxo, any ways less the chat down to what I'm baffled with. Recently have just purchased another phase 2 vtr , fitted a 4-1 manifold straight through to back box. Fired her up and car is as quiet as it was standard. Can someone please tell me how this is as my old vts and vtr where a lot louder. Thanks guys .

My Magnex and 421 Manifold wasn't that loud, at idle or low revs.

Is it all new stuff? If so give it some time to 'soot up' and it will get a bit louder.

Magnex back boxes are generally really quite mate. I can barely hear mine if I'm sitting at 2000rpm only really notice it when you get up to about 3000.

Best bet is to upload to youtube then post the links as text.
Cant wait to see / hear them tbh, my VTR used to have a beasty exhaust (nice beefy backbox, big tailpipe and was a straight through - quiet ish up to 3000, then it was VERY loud) ... Failed the MOT though so had to just get a standard exhaust haha
