On the list of jobs Ross, especially for the front as that's the easy one.
Rear will need the import rear bumper or a Kouki kit. Far more important things to throw money at for now!

Theres a few nice ones I pass round Aylesbury although I prefer the 180SX. All of the older nissans are notorious for rust though. Someone told me that they are all like it and the only way to get a good chassis is to import.
I'll stick with my expensive AE86 for now though....

Only one lady I care about at the moment Mr Gav
I've ordered some polybushes for the bottom coilover mounting point on the rear as mine seem to be flexing considerably. One little niggly thing to cross off the list.
I should have it back from the welders tomorrow, then I can send it off to Clarkey at Doritech for an inspection of the powerplant.

Nah it's only boosting to 0.4 bar and hesitates / stutters when cold.
Tremendous oil leak front and back
Clarkey is going to do the oil leaks, turbo gaskets, leak down test and compression test. Once he's done all that and is happy that it's not going to shit itself he'll start chasing the power issue. The car should be running 0.9 bar and around 270bhp.

Welding is all sorted, no pics of that (I'm trying to forget about it lol).
I've bought an AEM Wideband to keep an eye on my air / fuel ratio as I suspect it's running lean. I've also replaced the rear bushes on the coilover bottom mounts and I've repaired the windscreen washer fluid lines.
Oh and I've fitted some nicer speakers and a new headunit, buzzing speakers were doing my head in.
Trying to get it booked in at Doritech now. Did a compression test yesterday and it's all good there so that's a relief.

Hmmm updates...
Compression test done, 150psi across all four cylinders. I've checked the turbo for play and it feels spot on. Turbo gaskets are finally in stock so they'll be fitted in the next couple of weeks hopefully.
I've stripped the front brakes down and replaced every seal, piston and washer. I now have working brakes (I had 1 working piston per caliper out of four).
It'll be going to Greg at Protuner for a dyno diagnosis. They pretty much test everything on the car, if this doesn't find my running issue I'll be very surprised.
Once all of that's done, wheels can be bought and I can start tidying bits up.
Pics to follow when I can be arsed.

Right then,
Turbo gaskets are now replaced and I also had a small oil leak sorted out.
Brakes are nicely refurbed (I never paint them). Rears are going to be swapped for Z32 / Skyline items as these are shit.
Then I had some fun with a laser engraving machine. The other headrest says slut:
Found more rust on the rear sills while it was at Doritech so that'll need sorting before the MOT, joy. The car is still only boosting to 0.4 bar and has about 160bhp. It'll be going back to Doritech next week so that we can try to fix it. Really annoying though, it should have an extra 100bhp and it's worse on fuel!!
Updates as and when.

Car is booked in at Protuner with Greg to work his magic this Friday.
Wideband is installed and what a relief, the fueling is spot on. 14.7 on idle and 11.5 on boost. So at least I know that I've not done any damage in the past 2 months.
I've bought a cat for it to pass the MOT, i'll probably just stick it in the boost and leave it up to the tester to decide whether or not he wants to fit it.

It's fixed!!
Turned out I had hairline cracks in all of my coilpacks, swapped them for some replacement parts and it made 270bhp at 0.9 bar. (Was at 200bhp before).
So I can start updating this with something interesting now. Wheels, new steering wheel and some sort of subtle bodykit will be happening soon.
Ta.

Completely new car mate, I've had to take it to our "practice area" to get used to the new power band as it behaves so differently.
Happy chap
