Looks great as is Lewis personally.
Out of curiosity, whats the weight of those wheels?

I also had my new Faulkner Springs fitted - 200Lb 6" Mains and 4" 40Lb helpers (using a spring platform between the two also). It still sits slightly high but it may settle, and the wheels are wider than normal so if it's too low it may catch the arch. I need to get some adjustable top mounts so I can get some camber on it! Bob sent me some pics anyway.
Here is how it sat before (it was really high up front!)
And here is how it sits now:
So as you can see - it's not heaps lower but it will do for now I think! May just raise the back a touch so it's dead level, as the roads are pretty terrible around here anyway. The only way to go lower would be to get some 2" 60Lb helper springs (these have less coils too).
We'll see anyway. It's a job for another day!

Your car is coming on well mate, loving how it is looking at the moment, keep up the good work because your one lucky bugger to have the money to pay for all the goodies .

Aye I have sold plenty of things I wish I could've kept, but you can only have so many toys! I'll see how it sits once I get it back and then decide anyway. Like I said I may just raise the rear a little more to suit, that's the most practical solution. Super low cars do look cool but they're only really useable on a race track where the surface is decent.
Josh - probably 2 weeks now. Bob is doing the rear loom, so I should get it back not today but next saturday. Then I just need to get the exhaust sorted. I wish there was one I could just buy and fit but due to the fact it has a KRS manifold i'll need to get something specially made to suit.
Craig - ah so you are still around then! Good to hear from you dude - I wondered where you'd disappeared to! Nice one on getting your car sorted again dude. I sold the Saxo to a friend (Paulydixon) and he's finishing it off now as I had planned. Basically since I moved out I didn't have the money required to finish the saxo, and this rallye came up for sale (i've always wanted one) so I thought the best idea was to change altogether. So far so good. Had loads of nightmare problems getting this sorted though. Gearbox had to come off (and go back on) about 4 times to get the release bearing sorted to fit the race clutch, my sump had a crack so that had to come off to be re-welded and pressure tested. My stack dash had old software on it so had to go back to stack for reconifuration. It's cost me a lot more than planned but that's how it is with cars eh>>! Should be done soon anyway I can't wait! Fuck!

Nice mate. Definitely an improvement, but I still think lower would be better. Fine if you're going off road, but for a track set up, you'd do better with a little less ride height.
Does look nice... Makes me feel bad reading this thread. But inspired at the same time.

Right, a little update with a bit of good and a BIG bit of bad news....
The good news is Bob will be delivering the car back to me on Sunday with the rear loom all sorted etc, and he had it detailed for me too which was really cool of him. The BAD news is I just found out I lost my job. I have been in Copenhagen with my girlfriend for the past three days, and when I got home I received a call (actually they phoned my Dad to pass the message on which was nice of them) to say I no longer have a job, so I am currently trying to sort things out and find a new job! The Rallye will be ok for now, it's going to my parents and staying there in the garage for the while, but it obviously won't see the road yet as it still needs an exhaust. That's the only thing left to do to get it running! So sad times, but hopefully if I get a new job sorted soon I will be able to crack on as normal and still get it ready in time for this season. Onwards and upwards eh?

cheers dude - what a cunt eh! Still, just need to sort something else and get on with it, even if I have to do something shite in the interim...god I hope I don't have to work in Aldi or the like!?
I work(ed) for an electrical engineering firm and we did a lot of work for network rail and LUL doing station refurbishments and the like, platform lighting, CCTV etc etc, and I worked in the office sourcing labour and organising materials for the jobs amongst other things. Did a bit of everything really!

Bad news about the job matey. I was kind of in the same boat last year. Sounds like yu got the right idea though by just shutting the rallye in the garage for a while till things balance out. Not like its costing you anything whilst it sits there. Shame though, when it was so close to being finished.

I was only joking mate. I would do any work to be honest, and I think people who have a job right now are lucky to have one and should be grateful as you never know what's round the corner!
Thanks for the support though lads - i've done the CV again so hopefully something will turn up soon - god i'm skint!
