kerso is a bit cheaper off ebay i find aswell.

They do several versions of this lens.

F/2.8 IS 70-200 - £very expensive
Not sure if they do the F/2.8 without IS

F/4 Non IS 70-200 - around £400
F/4 IS 70-200 - around £700

The F/4 IS version is awesome so sharp and bloody damn fast focussing was amazed by it definatly want one now!

its an L lens what do you expect.

I personally prefer having the faster 2.8L as its alot better in low light.

G has the original version, i have the 1st gen "macro", theyre now on the 2nd gen "macro".

HSM and f2.8 what more could you want..

although i was wishing for more length at thruxton the other week.. id sell a kidney for a 120-300 f2.8..

the front element on the 120-300 is mad though, at some events i do a filter is a must unless you want chipped lens glass

its like 105mm or something daft lol

by macro for the 70-200 i hope they have not got the gay sodding motor and extrernally rotating system thats on the 18-50.

nope its all internal and the front element does not rotate, neither does the focus ring and it has focus override

i know, filters for the 70-200 arent exactly cheap let alone the 120-300 i imagine lol

thank fook for that, thats the one massive downfall with some of the sigma kits (the macro/zoom lenses) that dodgy set up is so annoying..

i love the fisheyes though
