Getting your PC base to display on Laptop screen

My uncle has got a security system installed in this shop but the monitor has stopped working for some reason, he has got a laptop just wondering if there is any way that you can get it to display the information from his base to his laptop screen, he has tried connecting the blue wire that goes from the base to the monitor so that the wire goes from the base to the laptop rather then the screen, he is using XP on his laptop anyone know how to do it thanks

Nope, unless your laptop has video in and then you might be able to do it with an adapter, but laptops don't come with video in.
