still cant read data as fast as an xbox 360,
so where you believe its the most Powerful games console...
Xbox would piss it at copying data / reading data.
Believe the stats are
360 -16mbps
PS3 - 8 or 9mbps

Regardless of whether it's got the most powerful processor, its not using it to its full.
One of Sonys execs has gone on record as saying that they dont expect developers to fully utilise its power for 3-4 more years. So your buying a console that wont be using its full potential for another 3 years. If that wasn't bad enough, the new Microsoft console is penned for release around that date.
Anyway this isn't another 360 vs PS3 thread, its about 360 and Wii.

I have 2 cables in the ebox is this correct?
1 is a power cable the other a scart.
I have a standard TV so it is set to TV and i have plugged the red, yellow and white into the Tv, if i don't put the yellow in i get a blue screen.

there's a swicth on the component thing have you switched that to tv? this is how it told me to do it in xbox manual.
1. connect hd av cable connector to the av port on the console.
2. set the switch on the av port connector to tv
3. connect the yellow colour banded composite signal video connector on the hd av cable to the yellow input on your tv. leave the red, green and blue colour-banded video unconnected.
4. connect the solid colour left and right white and red audio connectors on the hd av cable to the audio inputs on your tv.
